LONG ISLAND MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT HALL OF FAME INDUCTION!

Thrilled to announce that I’ll be inducted into LIMEHOF!
Having served on the LIMEHOF Education Board fornearly 10 years, I’ve been honored to support and celebrate Long Island’s young musicians and educators. I never imagined I’d become an inductee myself! I especially love that this induction recognizes three musical chapters that mean the world to me: making music with my lifelong buddies and musical family From Good Homes; collaborating and playing bass with The Laurie Berkner Band; and the many exciting, meaningful years of making music for kids and families I’ve shared with the Little Band That Could. I have just one request: is there any way my plaque can be hung next to KISS’s Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley’s—my teenage inspiration? Thank you, LIMEHOF. I’m truly grateful for this honor.

Here’s the first leg of this year’s Finland, Latvia & Estonia tour! (9/27-10/5)

Helsinki is beautiful this time of year; I was lucky to have a day to wander and take a run before the tour kicked off. Then it was up early for a fun solo show at the Espoo Int'l School, followed by a busy week of trilingual shows (Swedish, Finnish & English) with my buddy Maco Oey from Tampere, Finland.

Everyone was so sweet, warm and welcoming. Loved meeting the kids, teachers and families. Kiitos, tack, and thanks!

Week two of solo shows began with a super-fun pub gig in Helsinki, where I premiered my new tune, “Huuliharppu” — a song about my favorite Finnish word (look it up…) — followed by my annual pop-in at the cutest preschool in Helsinki, Pike Playschool Toolo.

Enjoy the pics and look out for more from week two as we made our way through Latvia and Estonia, then back for a Finland finisher!

Kiitos to Maija Leminen at BraveHeart Agency for all the work organizing this whirlwind tour, and to Sepi at KELMU Karjaa Live Music Association for the sound and support!

CELEBRATING 25 YEARS!

In 2025 we celebrated 25 years of making music for kids & families, and all throughout the year I could feel that energy running through everything we did — a deep appreciation for our fans, for the musicians in the band, for what we’ve accomplished, and real excitement for what lies ahead. Thank you for being part of that.

So grateful for the chance to collaborate with so many wonderful folks and take on such rewarding projects. Thank you all!

Meet Baby Rhino

We're keeping our 25th-year celebration going with our latest and playful-est album yet! It's lovingly titled after a nickname that Little Band fans coined for me after mishearing Brady Rymer as “Baby Rhino"— a delightful mix-up, and I'm runnin' with it!

Made especially for younger audiences, Baby Rhino is all about giving a voice to a child’s wild and wonderful imaginations and fascinations. 🦖 From dinos to rhinos, elevators and helicopters 🚁 to lessons about happiness and being okay with life’s “uh-ohs,” 🤷🏼 stomp on over to your favorite streaming platform and listen to Baby Rhino today!

I also snuck in a reworking of the Grateful Dead's "The Monkey and the Engineer." I gave this new version a lyrical twist that I think the kids will get a kick out of!

Thanks to this amazing team!

When You’re Kind

w/Laurie Berkner!

Come sing with us in a land where purple squirrels scamper, pink and blue trees sway in the breeze, and surprise gifts are hiding behind every back...

I’m excited to share the video "When You're Kind" from our new album ‘Sunny Side Up,’ which reminds us that a sprinkle of kindness can brighten everyone's day! Hope this inspires you to share some.

Singing and filming this together with Laurie was a beautiful gift. Thank you to Jake Mathew for the magical video landscape and animation, Katie Messer for the friendly filming and Glen Hoffman for the perfect edit.

SUNNY SIDE UP!

We’re delighted to announce the release of Sunny Side Up, our most optimistic, bright-eyed album yet!

Folky, easy-going and playful, this seven-song collection finds beauty and brilliance in the familiar: hangin' laundry on the line, dandelions in the wind, the comfort of a home-cooked breakfast.

A sweet duet with my friend Laurie Berkner and the masterful guitar work of Matchbox Twenty's Matt Beck add sparkle to the perennially positive sounds of the Little Band That Could.

The title track was inspired by my sunny mother-in-law Grandma Jody: now 92, she still greets each day with a smile. "Sunny Side Up" sets the tone for an album that encourages us to embrace and savor the joy in the everyday.

“Like a high five wrapped up in a hug.”
— Kenny Curtis, Head Writer at Tinkercast, Host & Writer of ‘Greeking Out’

NEW VIDEO “SUNNY SIDE UP”

I'm excited to share our new music video for "Sunny Side Up," featuring PBS's The Bopstars!

A guitar-strummin’ clown, a cheeky sun, a blue-eared dog and a friendly lion join me for this tune.  Throw in the sweet harmonies of an eggplant, carrot & tomato and this fun-lovin' bunch of Bopstars had me grinnin' all day. I hope these fuzzy critters keep you on the sunny side, too!

Big thanks to this talented crew!
